Verification and Validation (V&V) is an intrinsic part of the design process for all devices. During any design project, we develop a Risk Management Plan. This not only shapes the whole design process, but determines the depth and nature of V&V activities. All V&V at DC Allen is therefore planned, documented, and traceable.
We are also able to carry out complete verification programs on new or existing products in which we have had no design input. This situation may arise where the regulatory, or client quality system requirements, did not exist or were less stringent at the time of design, or when failures are occurring in the field, particularly in products with a long life-cycle.
We can undertake:
- Circuit and tolerance analysis
- Detailed software code review
- Unit (white box) testing
- Functional testing
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Misuse Modes and Effects Analysis
